- Both Anette L'orange & Anna-Julia Granberg holds a Masters Degree in Visual Communication and work within the fields of Graphic Design, Illustration and Photography. They like to challenge people's notion of themselves. Whether it is interacting with clients or under self-initiated work, they seek to challenge established expressions such as identity, pride and vulnerability. For a while now they've studied the self-portrait as form of expression, creating multiple identities and consciously using photography of themselves as their narrative approach. Juho Grönholm is a towering presence in the Scandinavian architecture scene. He presents a strong case for continuing the global project for rich and complex architecture in the face of oppressive minimalist moralism. Aksjon Geriljabroderi is an exhibition project that aims to set this traditional, safe and overly feminine handicraft free from its strict boundaries and means of expression. The eager members of the guerrilla group bring embroidery into the harsh realities of contemporary life - and the harsh realities into the embroidery. Astrid Loraas a designer and Mona Pedersen an assistant Professor in Media Culture have initiated the project, which takes place at Sound of Mu in Oslo from Dec. 3rd. Ove Rogne and Henning Meier are two of the partners of the four years old lighting brand Northern Lighting. Despite being a young company, Northern Lighting distributes its products to projects as well as concept, furniture and design retailers in a total of twenty countries across Europe. Formerly a management consultant, Ove Rogne is the CEO and Head of Design in Northern Lighting, and is also the designer of two of the products in the portfolio (Oslo Wood and Moo). Henning is in charge of international marketing and has worked as a marketing manager in a pharmaceutical company in Spain and Norway. www.northernlighting.no- Søstrene Andrews // Theatre
Hildur Kristinsdottir and Maria Ramvi, both educated at the Norwegian Theatre Academy have created the company "Søstrene Andrews". It is based on their last performance about The Andrews Sisters. They have a little sister, Nina Eileen Sponnich, who also joins them on stage. They make political theatre and just did their second performance "Salt`n`Pepper serverer Den Tredje Sjimpansje" at Black box Theatre in Oslo.

Jan Erik Svendsen was born in Sandefjord, Norway, in 1981. He moved to Oslo in 2002 to embark on a career as photographer and completed his Apprenticeship in photography in 2005. Jan Erik has worked with portraits and reportages, for several Norwegian Publications, and coverages for international magazines such as Monocle and The Guardian. - Bård is a prolific Oslo based architect who has been teaching at AHO for several years, as well as at the same time writing articles, doing lectures and running his own private practice; designing furniture and housing. He has previously worked both in Oslo (Lund & Slaatto Arkitekter AS) and Zürich (Burkhalter Sumi Architekten). He has recently been appointed as the new leader of Arkitekturverkstedet / AsplanViak.

Wind, Øyvind Aamot, recently known as "the man without memories", from the documentary Jakten på hukommelsen / Hunting down Memory, which tells the story of his amnesia in 2000 and the way back to "normal" life. "From culturelost to culturelover", this process has taught him what he is today, and led to the development of a fulfilling interest in getting people of various cultural and artistic backgrounds together. - Paula Kjerstadius has a master’s degree in visual communication and currently works at Dark Architects, where she specializes in visual communication of architecture. Julie Sjøwall Oftedal works as a journalist in Arkitektnytt and has taught communication about arts and architecture at Oslo University College and The Oslo School of Architecture and Design. She is currently doing a masters degree on the combination between visual and verbal rhetoric in branding of architectural projects.

The Norwegian based design agency ANTI is launching a new black denim label. Working with graphic design, illustration, digital solutions, concepts and identities for other, they have decided to develop a brand of their own. The brand is built around Norwegian culture of darkness and the origin of TrueBlack Metal.
Manhattan Skyline is part of an international hardcore related metal-scene where bands like Converge, The Locust and Botch have been among the leading lights. They recently released their debut album Curses and will also play at By:Larm 2010.
